Delta, American lounges offer local color

As American Airlines and Delta Air Lines revamp airport lounges and build new ones, they are opting for custom designs that reflect local culture. Delta’s new Tokyo Sky Club features a noodle bar, Japanese art and a distant view of Mount Fuji. American’s lounge at Reagan National Airport bows to Washington, D.C., with a design reminiscent of the Capitol dome and a view of the real thing.
