Aman New York raises posh pricing bar: $5.5K per night

The Aman New York, which opened Aug. 2 in the century-old Crown Building in Manhattan, boasts the Big Apple’s most expensive hotel stays, charging $4,200 per night during the week and up to $5,500 per night on weekends. The 83-suite property features a private club with a $200,000 initiation fee and $15,000 annual dues.
