Hospitality lends bright spot as US job growth slows

Leisure and hospitality posted a better August than the US private sector in general, which added 132,000 jobs, down from 268,000 in July and the smallest increase since the beginning of last year, according to ADP Research Institute and Stanford Digital Economy Lab. Leisure and lodging added 96,000 jobs and raised average pay by 12.1% compared to 7.6% overall
