In the pursuit of speed, humans invented steamships, railroads, airplanes, and jet planes, accelerating transport with each invention. The next generations of jets shrank the world further in the 1990s and beyond by introducing very long-range flights, some lasting 12 to 18 hours.

Today, it is now possible to reach almost any corner of the planet in a single day. But, what if we could travel even faster? Let’s explore the travel possibilities aboard Boom Overture, across more than 500 supersonic routes.

The Boom Overture performance specifications show a proposed Mach 1.7 (1,000 kn; 1,800 km/h; 1,100 mph), 65–88 passenger supersonic airliner with 4,250 nmi (7,870 km; 4,890 mi) of range, requiring a refueling stop for many transpacific routes.
