American exec, Southwest flight attendant revisit encounter

Almost two years after their chance encounter drew media attention to their discussion about race relations, American Airlines chairman Doug Parker and JacqueRae Sullivan, a Southwest Airlines flight attendant, talked about what they learned at a Sept. 27 event in Dallas. “Just talk to each other, and those of us who have the ability to influence, you can use that ability to do good,” said Parker, who said he was “changed by JacqueRae’s courage and how impactful it was.”
