The Federal Aviation Administration has finalized a rule that will guarantee flight attendants 10 hours of rest time between flights. US airlines recognize the importance of prioritizing the wellbeing of all employees, and the majority of US flight attendants already receive 10 hours of rest. “The safety of all crewmembers and passengers is always the top priority of the US airline industry,” said Hannah Walden, a spokeswoman at Airlines for America. “Having rested and alert flight attendants who are prepared to carry out their responsibilities, including cabin safety and other duties, is critical to this goal.”
