American Airlines’ new Admirals Club at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is designed to evoke a park-like feeling for passengers seeking relaxation, says Dwayne MacEwen, founder of DMAC Architecture & Interiors, which designed American’s new lounges. “The club is conceived as a collection of thoughtfully designed spaces for guests to relax and recharge, and where many details–both large and small–are embedded with local narratives for a sense of place,” MacEwen said.
