Extended-stay lodging company Edyn plans to expand to France, the company announced Tuesday.

Edyn’s first property in France will open in Paris in 2024 as part of the company’s European expansion, according to the company.

Edyn under its Locke brand will take over a “historic property in the city’s fifth arrondissement” and “will be followed by its development into a 145-key boutique aparthotel,” it said.

The new Paris accommodation joins Edyn’s growing portfolio, following the acquisition of the NH Hotel in London and the opening of WunderLocke in Munich. Edyn also expects Locke properties to open in Berlin, Zurich and Lisbon in 2023 and 2024.

The expansion follows Edyn’s securing of £105 million in debt facility funding in March.
