Some airports allow non-travelers to access terminals

The Ontario International Airport near Los Angeles launched the ONT+ program, which allows non-travelers to apply for a pass to go through standard TSA checkpoints and accompany travelers at their gate. Several other airports have similar programs including Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Tampa International Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Calif.
