Avoid the middle seat.

Subway announced a new sweepstakes that will award air travelers stuck in the middle seat a free meal on National Sandwich Day.

The restaurant chain will give away 10,000 Subway Series footlong subs to passengers stuck in the dreaded “sandwich seat.” To participate, travelers must visit the company’s official website and upload a photo of themselves flying in the middle seat on November 3 for a chance to win one of 10,000 electronic gift cards that can be used to purchase their favorite sandwiches.

The submission website will be open from 12:00 a.m. ET on November 3 to 11:59 p.m. ET on November 4.

“From new ingredients and sandwiches to fun and rewarding experiences, we are always looking for new ways to surprise and delight our guests,” Subway Global Chief Marketing Officer Carrie Walsh said.

“We have all experienced a ride in the sandwich seat, so offering free, mouthwatering Subway Series footlongs is the perfect way to celebrate sandwiches and our new menu and provide a little relief to sandwich-seat air travelers,” Walsh continued.

Travelers who don’t win one of the 10,000 free sandwiches will still be eligible to buy any footlong sub and get one free with the promo code FLBOGO on Subway.com or the Subway app.

Subway isn’t the only company rewarding travelers, as Margaritaville at Sea announced earlier this month that it would increase the availability of the Heroes Sail Free program. The cruise line is offering a free cruise on any sailing to all qualified U.S. military service members (active duty and veterans), police, fire, EMS personnel, nurses and educators who take a voyage with a paying guest.
