Delta CEO: Transatlantic flight demand “unprecedented”

Demand for transatlantic travel has been “truly unprecedented” since pandemic restrictions were lifted, Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian told reporters in Tampa, where partner Virgin Atlantic launched new service to London from that Florida city. “There’s all demographics of society that are travelling internationally,” Bastian said, predicting that “this is going to continue for several years.”
