Delta CEO highlights carrier’s preparation for holiday travel

In an interview on NBC’s The Today Show, Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian said the carrier has surged key staffing to prepare for the holiday travel period that kicks off this month for Thanksgiving. “We hired 25,000 people since the start of last year,” Bastian said. “We are ready to go. We are expecting over 5 million people for the Thanksgiving week.”
