Okla. college joins American’s pilot training academy

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Okla., is the first college to partner with American Airlines’ Cadet Academy. Students can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Flight as well as their pilot’s qualifications. “We are thrilled to offer a new pathway which includes building flight time while working towards a college degree with the support of mentorship and financial aid,” said Christina Flores, managing director of aviation recruiting and programs at American Airlines.
