Two hotels near the Los Angeles airport are now charging guests a “Hotel Worker Protection Ordinance Costs Surcharge” to cover the cost of panic buttons required by the city. The Los Angeles Airport Marriott charges $10.72, while the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel adds $8.70.
