Marriott Launches Apartment-Style Brand

Marriott International will launch a new extended-stay brand with residential-style accommodations in the U.S. and Canada, the company announced Wednesday.

Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy will enter the upper-midscale and luxury apartment-style stay sector, joining the company’s longtime upscale residential extended-stay brand Marriott Executive Apartments, which is available in Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

“There is a growing desire for premium accommodations” providing “home-like amenities as travelers combine work and leisure trips” among travelers and Marriott Bonvoy members, according to the company.

The new brand will be searchable through Marriott’s reservations engine and is included within the company’s loyalty program, according to Marriott.
