Swiss International will introduce Airbus A350-900s from 2025

The next step in the modernisation of Swiss International Air Lines’ (SWISS) long-haul fleet will be the introduction of the Airbus A350-900. From 2025 onwards, the airline will take delivery of five A350-900s, which in the longer term will replace the airline’s four remaining four-engined A340-300s.

The five incoming aircraft are part of a total order for 25 A350-900s that was placed by the Lufthansa Group in 2019.

With this planned substantial modernisation of our long-haul aircraft fleet, we are setting a vital course to sustainably maintain our competitive edge over the longer term.
