Oriens Aviation expands at London Biggin Hill Airport

Pilatus and Tecnam aircraft distributor for the British Isles, Oriens Aviation, is expanding its MRO and customer support activities at London Biggin Hill Airport.

The company is moving to newly refurbished Hangar 170, Churchill Way, which provides its operations an area of nearly 20,000 square feet.

The new facility features hangarage and a workshop area, as well as a modern office wing, and is the new home of Oriens’ growing maintenance business. In addition to its Pilatus PC-12/PC-24 maintenance services, Oriens holds Authorised Service Centre status to provide full maintenance on Cirrus SR20X aircraft. In the near future it plans to further expand its MRO capability to the Tecnam P2012 Traveller aircraft, with more Tecnam models to follow.

Edwin Brenninkmeyer, CEO at Oriens Aviation commented: “Demand for our aircraft sales and maintenance services is continuously increasing. This larger base at London Biggin Hill offers Oriens an excellent platform for growth.”

Robert Walters, Commercial Director at London Biggin Hill Airport said: “We are delighted with the tremendous success Oriens Aviation is seeing here at the Airport and we are pleased to support the company in its growth. The exclusive distribution of Pilatus and Tecnam aircraft, including the PC-24, by Oriens Aviation, along with the additional Cirrus Aircraft maintenance capacity, plays an important role at London Biggin Hill. Oriens Aviation is a vital part of our business aviation ecosystem.”
