Porter Airlines chooses West Entertainment as IFE content service provider

Porter Airlines has selected Viasat for in-flight connectivity (IFC) on its 30 new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft,

Porter Airlines has chosen West Entertainment as its in-flight entertainment content service provider.

According to West Entertainment, the partnership will cover the provision of IFE on Porter’s Embraer 195-E2 fleet equipped with Viasat’s Wireless Streaming system starting from 1 February 2023.

The carrier’s passengers will have access to the latest Hollywood and Canadian content, from the newest box office blockbusters and best all-time classic movie titles to the top-ranking TV shows, the latest boxsets, trending TV series, kids programmes and documentaries.

West Entertainment will be managing curated programming, acquisitions, digital encoding and AVOD management requirements.
