Edelweiss aircraft took off for the first time in the direction of Amman and Aqaba in Jordan on February 2.

Until end of June and again from autumn, our home carrier will fly from Zurich every Thursday and Sunday to Amman and on to Aqaba.

This event was celebrated with the traditional ribbon cut. Together with the Edelweiss crew, Patrick Heymann (Chief Commercial Officer Edelweiss), Rolf Hancock (Vice President Aviation Development Flughafen Zürich AG) and Michael Schmidli (Operations Manager Swissport) cut the ribbon.

Edelweiss Air is a Swiss leisure airline, charter airline and the sister company of Swiss International Air Lines. It operates flights to European and intercontinental destinations from its base at Zürich Airport.
