Kales positive on new carrier Norse Atlantic’s expanded network

GSA Kales Group is hopeful the expansion of the recently launched Norse Atlantic’s network will help boost bellyhold volumes.

In February the carrier revealed plans to add six new flights from Gatwick airport in the UK.

Flights to Washington six times per week will launch on June 1, daily flights to Los Angeles will be added June 30, and San Francisco will be covered three times per week from July 1.

Flights to Boston will operate five times per week from September 2, Orlando will be added four times per week in May before increasing to daily in June, and Fort Lauderdale will launch three times per week in May and increase to four times per week in June.

Norse Atlantic, which launched in the summer of last year, already flies daily from Gatwick to New York JFK. It also flies to JFK from Berlin and Oslo four times per week.

From March 26, Norse will fly daily from Paris Charles de Gaulle to JFK and in June daily from Rome to JFK.

All routes are operated with B787-9 aircraft.

Jennifer Bendelow, head of cargo Norse Atlantic, said: “ We are excited to announce our full summer 2023 schedule and be able to offer a wider network to our cargo customers alongside our valued cargo partner, Kales.

“This summer our cargo capacity from London Gatwick to the US will substantially increase with five Boeing 787 Dreamliners based at the airport. In addition, we will now operate direct flights to five European airport hubs from New York JFK from this summer.”

Kales is performing all sales, administrative and operational activities, including using its booking systems.

The airline is headquartered in Arendal, Norway and holds a Norwegian AOC (air operator’s certificate).
