SF Airlines launches China-Belgium air cargo route
The air cargo supply chain between China and Belgium has been strengthened with SF Airlines’ launch of a new route between Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport in east China’s Shandong province to Liege Airport in Belgium.
This new route was launched on April 11 and uses express carrier SF Airlines’ freighter fleet, said Xinhua, China’s state press agency.
Two round-trip cargo flights are scheduled to run between China and Europe every week on this route, adding 400 tonnes of air express capacity, SF Airlines said.
Prior to the opening of this new route, the cargo airline on April 1 launched a cargo route linking Ezhou Huahu Airport in central China’s Hubei province, and Liege.
SF Airlines is the aviation branch of SF Express.
The company has established a cargo route network that covers China, and is now growing across Asia, and internationally.
SF Airlines recently added freighter number 80 and expects more to be added this year.
Ezhou Huahu Airport began operations in July 2022.
In November, the airport launched its first all-cargo domestic air route, linking Ezhou with Shenzhen in south China’s Guangdong Province.
