Carnival Cruise Line opened sailings for the Carnival Venezia through 2024-25, including its Caribbean season where it will homeport out of Port Canaveral in Florida.

The ship, which was previously owned by Costa Cruises, Carnival’s sister line, will debut the line’s new ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style’ experiences. Beginning on December 6, 2024 the ship will sail a 12-day Southern Caribbean Carnival Journeys Cruise, heading from New York to Port Canaveral and visiting St. Thomas, St. Croix, Aruba, Curacao and Grand Turk.

The ship will then sail fifteen 7-day cruises, along with two special 14-day Carnival Journeys itineraries. In the spring, the ship will then head back to New York for its spring 2025 season.

The Carnival Venezia is currently undergoing renovations in Spain. The ship will host 5,000 guests and offer Carnival’s most loved entertainment and dining concepts, including Guy Fieri’s Guy’s Burger Joint, Fahrenheit 555, Piano Bar 88 and more. A new specialty restaurant, “Il Viaggio,” will offer guests the best of Italian cuisine.

“The sailings we’re opening today will allow us to share this new signature fun with more guests and bring another truly dynamic offering to one of our most popular homeports,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Carnival Venezia’s seasonal operation in Port Canaveral will bring our deployment there to five vessels and give our valued Carnival guests another great option when sailing from Central Florida.”
