Thompson Aero Seating Unveils Exciting Rebranding Campaign

Thompson Aero Seating has revealed a rebranding campaign, undertaken to reflect the company’s evolving ethos and vision. The campaign includes new brand elements, including logo, website and strapline, all aligned to the strategic direction of the company. The new logo will now start to appear on correspondence, social media, signage, uniforms and more, with the full rebrand process due to be completed and shown in June at the company’s stand at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2023 in Hamburg.

Thompson Aero Seating was established 20 years ago in Northern Ireland by its founder, James Thompson, with a key product being the space-efficient Vantage business-class seat. In 2016 the company was acquired by Chinese multinational aviation company, AVIC, and it is now part of the AVIC Cabin Systems group.

Thompson Aero Seating’s new corporate strapline – ‘Together, we inspire’ – is intended to reflect the creativity, vision and skill at every level of input to the business, the same values applied through partnerships with the business, and the company’s people-centric culture.

Andy Morris, recently appointed to a new role as Chief Commercial Officer at Thompson Aero Seating (previously vice president of commercial), says of the campaign: “We have worked hard to channel our long-established ethics and integrity with a new level of operational excellence and innovation. The new brand marks a new horizon. But we have not forgotten our roots. Thompson Aero Seating has always been about people – those who work for Thompson and those with whom we work. We look forward to continuing true partnerships with our airline customers, new and long-standing, to design and deliver inspirational products and services of the highest quality.”

The new website is now live at www.thompsonaero.com, which includes some of the partnerships forged between Thompson and its major airline customers, along with details on the progress of the company’s new state-of-the-art dynamic test facility.
