Exciting Debut for the Boeing 737-10 and 777-9 at Le Bourget Air Show

Boeing will showcase its market-leading aerospace and defense portfolio at the 2023 Paris Air Show. The company will feature its highly efficient commercial jets, critical defense platforms, customer-focused services, and innovative autonomous technologies.

At the event, attendees can witness the flying display of Boeing’s largest member of the MAX family, the 737-10, along with the new 777-9. Additionally, Boeing subsidiary Wisk Aero will debut its all-electric, autonomous 6th generation air taxi, which is undergoing certification for commercial passenger operations.

Boeing’s commitment to a sustainable aerospace industry will be evident through various initiatives. The company will demonstrate its “Cascade” Climate Impact Model, a data-modeling tool that provides actionable insights towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Attendees can also expect the introduction of a new tool that tracks sustainable aviation fuel capacity worldwide. Furthermore, Boeing will provide updates on its progress in delivering 100% sustainable aviation fuel-compatible airplanes by 2030.

He emphasized Boeing’s century-long history of protecting, connecting, and inspiring people worldwide through innovation and transformative products. Looking ahead, Boeing aims to collaborate globally to support the aviation industry’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

The 737-10 and 777-9 will make their debut at Le Bourget on June 18, offering exciting features and capabilities.

The 737-10 is designed to provide operators with increased capacity, improved fuel efficiency, and excellent per-seat economics. As part of the 737 MAX family, this aircraft has garnered over 3,500 net orders. Its advanced aerodynamic design and efficient engines contribute to a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and emissions, as well as a 50% decrease in noise compared to its predecessors.

The 777-9, recognized as the world’s largest and most efficient twin-engine jet, draws on advanced technologies from the highly successful 777 and the 787 Dreamliner. It offers a remarkable 10% improvement in fuel efficiency, emissions, and operating costs compared to competing models. At exhibit B337, Boeing will showcase the immersive display of the 777X passenger interior, highlighting its spacious cabin, flexible architecture, and customizable options designed to deliver an unparalleled experience. The 777X family has received more than 350 net orders, encompassing passenger models like the 777-8 and 777-9, as well as the new 777-8 Freighter.

In addition, Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s newest carrier, will present a Boeing-owned 787-9 aircraft featuring its captivating indigo livery inspired by the colors of the twilight sky. This airplane will be available for static display throughout the week, offering a visual treat to the attendees.
