Chinese exit-and-entry ports in major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, have fully resumed fast-lane services to facilitate cross-border travel. This move has been welcomed by travelers for its improved convenience and efficiency. In Beijing alone, all 113 fast lanes at its international airports are now operational, allowing passengers to swiftly complete customs clearance procedures by utilizing their identity cards and undergoing identity checks such as face and fingerprint recognition.

At Shanghai Pudong International Airport, a significant number of passengers visited the border inspection hall to complete border exit procedures, with nearly 5,000 passengers using fast-lane services for exit-entry procedures by 10 am. This accounted for more than 50% of the total inbound and outbound passengers. Similarly, after the resumption of fast-lane services at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, nearly 400 passengers took advantage of these services within the first hour.

The resumption of fast-lane services at Chinese exit-and-entry ports aims to enhance the convenience and efficiency of cross-border travel, ensuring a smoother experience for passengers.
