Oman’s SalamAir Introduces Direct Flights Between Salalah and Bahrain for Khareef Season

Oman’s SalamAir has launched direct flights between Salalah and Bahrain for the Khareef season, which runs from July to September. The new service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, starting from July 5th, 2023.

The new route aims to cater to the growing demand from travelers who want to enjoy a seamless travel experience between these two popular destinations. Salalah is the second largest city of Oman and the capital of the vibrant Dhofar province, which attracts visitors with its lush greenery, waterfalls, mountains and beaches. Bahrain is a country in the Persian Gulf that offers a rich history and culture, as well as modern attractions and shopping opportunities.

Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, said: “We are delighted to introduce this new service between Salalah and Bahrain, which will offer our passengers more convenience and flexibility during the Khareef season. This is part of our commitment to expanding our network and offering our customers more choices and value-for-money fares. SalamAir will operate the route with its state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo aircraft, which features 180 seats in a comfortable all-economy configuration. The flight schedule for the Salalah-Bahrain route is as follows:

  • OV271: Departs Salalah (SLL) at 10:00, arrives in Bahrain (BAH) at 11:30
  • OV272: Departs Bahrain (BAH) at 12:15, arrives in Salalah (SLL) at 15:45
