Club Med’s first resort in the Americas, Club Med Buccaneer’s Creek in Martinique, will be undergoing a large renovation across the property, slated to reopen in the fall of 2023.

The all-inclusive property, which opened in 1969, is undergoing its first phase of renovations with new interiors inspired by the lush island and its Creole culture.

One hundred thirty-nine of the resort’s rooms will feature a complete refresh, while the main welcome and reception area will feature a new tropical color scheme and more modern furnishings.

The resort’s main restaurant, Pays Mélés, will be redesigned to feature a new open-air layout with new furniture and decor, along with two private dining rooms with ocean views. The main bar, The Madou, will also offer a new outdoor terrace.

Club Med Buccaneer’s Creek will continue offering the brand’s all-inclusive format for food and fun, including water sports activities such as snorkeling, kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding.
