In a terrifying incident, a plane flying over Brazil experienced a harrowing mid-air scare when its door burst open, leading to an emergency landing. The EMB 110 aircraft, carrying about 12 passengers and two pilots, was only 25 minutes into the flight when the incident occurred. The plane had taken off from Sao Luís Airport, transporting band members for Brazilian singer Tierry, who was not on board at the time.

Video footage captured by producer Renato Butica, who happened to be near the open door, shows the intense moment as the plane descended for the emergency landing. Initially, passengers reacted with screams of fear, but they soon calmed down. The aircraft promptly returned to the airport to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause behind the door bursting open, as the well-being of passengers and crew remains a top priority. Although medical assistance was provided to those on the flight, fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, according to the airport.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety measures and proper maintenance procedures to prevent such occurrences during flights.
