Amtrak announced it would host hiring events on June 14 to celebrate National Hiring Day.

Officials from the rail company are looking to fill more than 4,000 positions across multiple sectors, including IT, onboard services, finance, mechanical, conductors, engineers, customer service, construction and more.

Amtrak is hosting events in Washington, DC, Philadelphia and virtually, with candidates encouraged to register ahead to see available positions, but walk-ins are also welcome.

In Philadelphia, prospective employees can visit the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., while people in Washington D.C. can partake in the employment fair at Union Station, East Hall, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Virtual events will be held online from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET through Amtrak’s official website.

With over 14 departments participating, attendees should be prepared to meet with recruiters and hiring managers, as certain locations will offer on-site interviews. In addition to full-time positions, Amtrak offers paid internships and co-ops for undergrad and graduate students, as well as Apprenticeship Programs.

Potential employees will be offered competitive benefits, including rail pass travel privileges, paid time away from work each year, educational assistance, comprehensive health and wellness benefits and more.
