Air France’s A350 business-class seat wows AIX visitors

Visitors to Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg this week have been able to see Air France’s latest long-haul business-class seat, due to fly from July 2023 on 21 Airbus A350s.

The seat is a widebody version of Stelia Aerospace’s Opera platform, customised in collaboration with Design Investment, with a flat bed almost 2m long, direct aisle access, and privacy afforded by a sliding door. The centre double seats are equipped with a lowerable central panel for controllable privacy.

The seat also integrates a 20in 4K UHD IFE display – the largest in an Air France Business cabin – and also a Bluetooth connection. A new touchpad screen is included for easy browsing of the IFE interface, and personal devices can be paired with the screen.
