As a sign of the continuing strength of the cruise travel industry, Holland America Line’s bookings on Tuesday, July 11 were the highest in the brand’s history and booking revenues broke the cruise line’s single-day record.

The majority of the sailings were 2024 and 2025 bookings indicating that cruisers are eager to travel and are planning ahead. Bookings reflect marquee locations including Alaska, Europe, the Caribbean as well as increased interest in the cruise line’s Legendary Voyages. The booked destinations covered such world itineraries as Australia, South America, the South Pacific and Asia.

According to Gus Antorcha, president, Holland America Line “We see a record booking day like this as encouraging for the whole industry, but for Holland America Line, it’s an endorsement of the quality of cruising product we’re able to offer to our guests. People are planning their vacations for next year and even into 2025, and in the process, they’re choosing the best service at sea and the unforgettable destinations that we offer.”

Through the cruise line’s Alaska Up Close, guests are immersed in the local culture with authentic onboard programming, cruise activities and award-winning shore excursions.

Seven-day cruises throughout the Caribbean continue to offer a differentiated experience with longer sailings, providing the opportunity to visit more islands on one itinerary.

Upcoming Holland America Europe seasons will see a diverse range of cruises ranging from trending destinations as Greenland and Iceland to the sun-kissed skies of Greece and Turkey. Itineraries include weeklong getaways to even longer voyages extending into multiple regions. With two Pinnacle Class ships homeporting in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in 2024, guests can now book cruises to Northern Europe and the British Isles.
