All-inclusive resorts are known for offering everything you need within the property’s boundaries. Often guests have little need to venture beyond the resort.

Melia Hotels International, however, is transforming the way travelers experience the communities and destinations that surround all-inclusive resorts.

At Paradisus by Meliá, the luxury, all-inclusive hotel brand by Meliá Hotels International, a new “Destination Inclusive” program was recently unveiled that was expressly designed to connect guests to local culture in inventive ways.

The program began April 1 and touches on nearly every aspect of Paradisus resorts including the resort’s design and amenities, food and beverage, and even its entertainment. Beyond the resort boundaries, meanwhile, guests can engage in one-of-a-kind excursions though Destination Inclusive “experiences.”

Available for guests of the newly launched Nikté and The Reserve upgraded suite categories (as part of the nightly rate) Destination Inclusive experiences are carefully curated by local experts and designed to connect guests with nature and with the surroundings of each resort location.

Private Yoga Classes, Explorations of Stunning Locations and More…
So what does a Destination Inclusive Experience involve exactly?

At the Paradisus locations in the Riviera Maya, which include Paradisus Cancun, Paradisus La Perla, and Paradisus Playa del Carmen, guests can visit a local cenote guided by a Mexican shaman for a private meditation and yoga class that’s designed to cleanse energies and connect guests to the natural environment.

At Paradisus Los Cabos, guests have the option to explore the unique beauty of a nearby canyon that has existed for thousands of years. While exploring this awe-inspiring space, guests will participate in a spiritual yoga practice and sound healing led by a local instructor.

For travelers who visit Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, the local experiences include the option to hop aboard a private catamaran and be transported to a quiet, serene beach. Once there, guests will take part in an oceanside class to connect with nature and the magic of the destination.

The fascinating experiences on offer will change throughout the year and be informed and designed with the expert advice of local curators.

“At Paradisus by Meliá, the destination plays a key role in creating a genuine adventure,” said Susanna Mander, global director of brand marketing for Paradisus by Meliá. “We are so excited to provide guests the opportunity to discover the infinite pleasures of a vacation like nothing they have ever experienced before. These new offerings give our guests the chance to discover secret corners, enjoy authentic cuisine, meet local artists, and explore local destinations, providing a deeper understanding of their special culture.”

The Destination Inclusive program isn’t the only reason to book a stay at Paradisus by Melia right now.

At the adults-only Paradisus La Perla, in Playa del Carmen, (which happens to be set in the heart of a lush mangrove forest along an idyllic white sand beach) you can now experience an exclusive special when booking three nights, you can stay for four nights.

There’s no time like the present to start booking your visit.
