United Airlines Enhances Newark to Bonaire Flight Offerings for Travelers

United Airlines has added two more weekly flights to a suddenly blossoming and popular island in the western Caribbean.

The carrier will now have three weekly flights from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to the island of Bonaire.

The island has become increasingly popular in the last few years.

“We are ecstatic to be working with United Airlines to bring two new weekly flights to the island this upcoming winter,” said Miles Mercera, CEO at Tourism Corporation Bonaire. “It’s a testament to our growing reputation among U.S. travelers and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors, both old and new, to beautiful Bonaire and everything it offers.”

Bonaire is part of the ABC chain of islands that includes Aruba and Curacao off the coast of Venezuela in the western part of the Caribbean.

Previously, United only flew to Bonaire once a week from both Houston and Newark. Now there will be three nonstop flights from Newark to Bonaire’s Flamingo International Airport.

The flights from Jersey will begin on January 10, 2024. They are also roundtrips.

People are not only flocking to Bonaire for its scenic beauty but for its culinary scene. The island has the number one ranked restaurant in all of the Caribbean in the Brass Boer at the Delfins Beach Resort.
