Commemorating the North Runway Anniversary at Dublin Airport

Happy first birthday to Runway 10L/28R at Dublin Airport (more commonly known as “North Runway”) which opened on-time and on-budget on this day last year.

Since the inaugural flight – a Ryanair flight to Eindhoven – departed shortly after noon on August 24, 2022, just over 4.9 million passengers have taken off or landed on the new 3.1km runway, enabling increased connectivity for tourism, trade and FDI.
