Bill Moore Appointed as President of UPS Airlines

Bill Moore, a seasoned UPS executive with three decades of experience at the company, has been named the new president of UPS Airlines, the air cargo division of UPS. His tenure will commence on October 1, where he will take the helm of UPS’s global air operations, including overseeing the UPS Worldport in Louisville, Kentucky.

Moore’s extensive UPS journey includes various leadership roles within the airline, with his most recent position being the president of UPS Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering. In this role, he held the responsibility of ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of UPS’s extensive fleet of more than 250 aircraft.

Moore succeeds Jim Joseph, who has been the president of UPS Airlines since April 2020. Joseph will transition to a new role focused on advancing UPS’s “Better and Bolder” strategy, aimed at enhancing the speed and efficiency of UPS’s network and services.

Nando Cesarone, Executive Vice President and President U.S. for UPS, commended Moore’s exceptional track record and expertise, expressing confidence in his ability to lead UPS Airlines.
