Emirates Orders 15 Additional Airbus A350-900s at Dubai Airshow 2023

Emirates has made a significant aircraft purchase at the Dubai Airshow 2023, securing an order for fifteen more Airbus A350-900s from Airbus (AIB), Toulouse Blagnac. This acquisition brings Emirates’ total backlog for the A350-900 to a remarkable 65 aircraft. The airline anticipates receiving its first A350 in August of the following year, with the entire order set to be fulfilled by early 2028.

In addition to this substantial A350 order, Emirates also expanded its partnership with Boeing by ordering fifty-five 777-9s and thirty-five 777-8s. Simultaneously, the airline updated its Boeing 787 Dreamliner (787) backlog to include fifteen B787-10s and twenty 787-8s, further solidifying its commitment to modernizing its fleet.
