JetBlue Airways has launched a new nonstop service between New York City and Belize City, marking a significant expansion of its network in Latin America and the Caribbean. This service, initiated on December 6, 2023, positions JetBlue as the only airline to offer nonstop flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Belize City. The airline aims to provide increased connectivity and convenience for travelers, with flights operating three times weekly.

Departing from JFK at 9:10 a.m., the flight arrives in Belize at 12:46 p.m. The return flight departs Belize at 1:55 p.m., arriving back in New York at 6:56 p.m. (all Eastern time). This scheduling offers an ideal balance for business and leisure travelers alike, ensuring efficient travel times to and from these vibrant cities.

David Jehn, JetBlue’s Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, expressed enthusiasm about the new route, stating, “Adding nonstop service to Belize enhances our presence in Latin America and the Caribbean and demonstrates our commitment to introducing our low fares and great service to more destinations and customers.” This expansion is a testament to JetBlue’s ongoing efforts to offer more choices to travelers, catering to the growing demand for diverse and accessible travel destinations.

With this new service, JetBlue now flies nonstop from JFK to 33 destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean, further solidifying its position as a key player in international air travel. This new route is expected to be a game-changer for both tourism and business travel between New York City and Belize City.
