Yeti Airlines, celebrating its 25th anniversary, has announced plans for an initial public offering (IPO) to achieve a stock exchange listing. Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa, the airline’s executive chairman, revealed the intention during the anniversary event in Kathmandu. While specific details and the IPO timeline remain undisclosed, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) supports the move, anticipating positive developments for the airline. Yeti Airlines currently operates within Nepal, serving 11 destinations with a fleet of ATR72-500s, and the IPO is expected to be a significant milestone in its future growth.
