Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has fortified its Airbus A320neo fleet by signing a significant agreement with Safran Nacelles. This pact centers on providing comprehensive support for the nacelles of Saudia’s 35 Airbus A320neo aircraft, which are equipped with CFM International LEAP-1A turbofan engines.

Through this collaboration, Saudia gains access to Safran Nacelles’ shared pool of nacelle end-items, ensuring the ready availability of essential components. The agreement also includes maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) solutions guaranteed by Safran Nacelles, particularly at the AMES repair station in Dubai. This strategic partnership aligns with Saudia’s transformation goals, aiming at operational efficiency and excellence in aviation operations.
