Four Seasons, in collaboration with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., has taken a significant step forward in the luxury travel industry with the steel-cutting ceremony of its inaugural yacht. Held at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Ancona, Italy, on November 29, this event symbolizes the commencement of construction for the first of the Four Seasons Yacht fleet, poised to debut by the end of 2025.

Larry Pimentel, president and CEO of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., described the event as a historic milestone in the journey of creating this ‘category of one’ Four Seasons Yacht. The partnership between Four Seasons and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings was announced in September 2022, with Fincantieri chosen to build the first vessel. In June 2023, the team commissioned a second luxury yacht, also from Fincantieri, slated for launch in 2026.

The yachts are set to redefine luxury at sea with 95 residential-style suites distributed across 14 decks. Each suite boasts an average size of 581 square feet, with some being substantially larger. The highlight of these accommodations is the “Funnel Suite,” an extravagant 9,500-square-foot space spread over four levels, featuring a personal wading pool, private spa, and breathtaking panoramic views through a record-breaking piece of curved glass.

Onboard amenities include 11 restaurants and bars, a full-service spa and salon, and a versatile 66-foot saltwater pool, which can transform into an event and performance space. With these features, Four Seasons Yachts aims to offer unparalleled luxury and exclusivity.

The maiden voyage in 2025 will see the yacht exploring the Caribbean during winter and spring, followed by summer trips in the Mediterranean. The first season is expected to cover 137 destinations across 33 countries, offering mostly seven-day cruises, with the option for guests to combine three itineraries for a 21-day expedition.

Four Seasons is initially extending invitations for these inaugural sailings to past guests and travel partners, while other interested parties can join an online waitlist. Alejandro Reynal, president and CEO of Four Seasons, sees the yacht fleet as an extension of the brand’s luxury travel experiences, adding to its existing portfolio of private jet and drive experiences and its globally renowned hotels and resorts.

The Four Seasons Yacht fleet represents a new chapter in luxury cruising, combining the brand’s expertise in hospitality with innovative maritime design, set to offer an unmatched experience on the high seas.
