Oceania Cruises Refreshes 2024 Mediterranean Itineraries, Excludes Middle Eastern Ports

Oceania Cruises has announced a significant update to its 2024 Mediterranean itinerary offerings, involving the revision of 42 voyages. These changes include the replacement of stops in Israel, Egypt, and Jordan, a move reflecting the cruise line’s commitment to passenger safety and desire to offer enriching travel experiences.

The modified voyages span from 10 to 58 days and will set sail from a variety of well-known ports, including Valletta, Dubai, Barcelona, Rome, Trieste, Athens, and Istanbul. These departures offer a wide range of travel options, appealing to different tastes and preferences among cruise enthusiasts.

Highlights of the revised itineraries include a 15-day journey from Dubai to Trieste aboard the Vista, departing on May 14. This particular voyage promises a rich journey through the Arabian, Red, Mediterranean, and Adriatic seas, with port calls in Greece, Montenegro, and Croatia, and an optional hotel stay in Venice.

Another standout itinerary is a 12-day cruise from Trieste to Barcelona on the Riviera, leaving on May 29. This voyage will navigate the Dalmatian Coast and include visits to captivating destinations such as Corfu, Malta, Sicily, Rome, Florence, and St. Tropez.

Additionally, a 10-day sailing from Athens to Barcelona aboard the Riviera, starting on July 24, will feature an array of iconic destinations including Rome, Florence, the Greek Islands, Sicily, and select spots along the Amalfi Coast and French Riviera.
