Celestyal Cruises, a boutique cruise line renowned for its summer sailings in the Greek Islands, is making a significant leap forward by extending its offerings to year-round cruises and adding new, exotic destinations to its itinerary. This move marks a major expansion for the cruise line, traditionally known for its seasonal operations.

Starting this November, the Celestyal Journey will set sail in the Persian Gulf, debuting the cruise line’s brand new seven-night “Desert Days” itinerary. With Doja as its homeport, this voyage offers an opportunity to explore a range of captivating destinations including Bahrain, Dubai, Oman, Sir Bani Yas, and Khasab. This expansion reflects the company’s strategic shift towards year-round operations.

Lee Haslett, Celestyal’s Chief Commercial Officer, during a media briefing, highlighted this development: “As we transition to a year-round operation, extending our reach beyond Greece is a natural progression for us. This expansion allows us to offer our guests a wider array of experiences and destinations.”

Looking ahead to November 2025, Celestyal Cruises is also planning to broaden its popular seven-night “Three Continents” itinerary. This unique cruise, which embarks from Greece, provides a roundtrip experience encompassing visits to Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, and Turkey.

The “Three Continents” itinerary will be hosted on Celestyal Discovery, the latest addition to the company’s fleet. This ship, formerly part of the AIDA Cruise brand, was acquired and refurbished by Celestyal in the fall of 2023, enhancing the luxury and comfort offered to passengers.

Moreover, Celestyal’s staple offerings, running from April to October aboard the Celestyal Journey, will continue to enchant travelers. This ship, previously operated by Holland America Line and P&O Australia, was also recently acquired and refurbished by Celestyal. The itineraries include the “Heavenly Adriatic,” “Summer Heavenly Adriatic,” and “Idyllic Aegean” cruises, which will now feature several new ports such as Venice, Bari, Dubrovnik, Kefalonia, Corfu, Kotor, and Katakolo.

This expansion by Celestyal Cruises not only diversifies their cruise portfolio but also offers travelers the chance to explore new horizons and experience the luxury of cruising throughout the year.
