The Westerdam’s Asian odyssey is set to commence in September 2025 and will extend through April 2026. During this period, passengers will have the chance to visit 51 unique ports across 11 countries, with an extraordinary focus on Japan, featuring 24 different ports. The cruise line has curated a selection of 10 diverse Asian itineraries, in addition to two trans-Pacific crossings, offering a rich tapestry of experiences.

What sets these itineraries apart is their emphasis on immersive experiences. The Westerdam will feature overnight stays and late departures in several ports, allowing guests ample time to delve into the local nightlife and culinary scenes. Further enhancing this cultural journey, travelers will have the opportunity to savor local delicacies onboard through Holland America Line’s global fresh fish program, which includes exotic selections like Japanese rockfish and Indonesian rambutan.

The season kicks off with the Westerdam embarking from Seattle towards Yokohama, Japan, in September 2025. From there, guests can choose from a variety of 13-, 14-, and 15-day itineraries, traversing through countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

For those seeking a more extensive exploration, Holland America Line offers the option of “Collectors’ Voyages.” These back-to-back cruises can extend up to 29 days, providing an in-depth experience of Asia’s rich and diverse cultures.
