Disneyland Resort welcomes guests to the newly opened Pixar Place Hotel, a vibrant transformation of the former Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel into the premiere Pixar-themed accommodation in the United States. Situated majestically with a 15-story view of Disney California Adventure Park, Pixar Place Hotel merges comfort with the creative spirit of Pixar Animation Studios, offering a unique stay experience for visitors.

Guests stepping into Pixar Place Hotel are greeted by a world where every detail pays homage to the artistry and storytelling prowess of Pixar. The hotel features contemporary guest rooms adorned with character artwork and concept renderings from beloved Pixar films like “Finding Nemo,” “Inside Out,” and “Soul.” The integration of Pixar’s rich narrative landscape provides an immersive experience, transporting guests into the heart of their favorite stories.

The hotel doesn’t just stop at thematic décor; it extends the Pixar experience to new dining options, a serene rooftop pool, a playful court area, and a modernized fitness center. According to Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock, this transformation is part of a broader initiative to enhance guest experiences at the Disneyland Resort with a focus on high-quality, story-driven offerings.

From the redesigned lobby featuring the iconic Pixar Lamp sculpture to the floating mobile that represents Pixar’s filmmaking process, every element of Pixar Place Hotel has been carefully curated to celebrate the creativity and humor intrinsic to Pixar films. The hotel showcases a range of artwork, from early sketches to final designs, offering guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of Pixar magic.

Pixar Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter expressed excitement over the collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering, highlighting the hotel as a living embodiment of Pixar’s storytelling mission. The immersive environment of Pixar Place Hotel brings stories to life in a new, tangible way for Disney park visitors.

The hotel’s accommodations include 479 guest rooms with plans to unveil two themed signature suites and a new concierge lounge by late 2024. The suites, inspired by “Coco” and “The Incredibles,” offer unique thematic experiences for guests. The rooftop recreation areas, including the Pixel Pool and Crush’s Surfin’ Slide, provide entertainment for all ages, alongside three new dining options managed by Southern California’s Great Maple.

Staying at Pixar Place Hotel also means enjoying exclusive benefits like early theme park entry and a dedicated park entrance, enhancing the overall Disney experience. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Disneyland Resort theme parks and Downtown Disney District, offering guests ease of access and additional privileges through the Disneyland app.

The opening of Pixar Place Hotel is a testament to Disneyland Resort’s commitment to bringing Pixar stories off the screen and into the hearts of its visitors. With the return of Pixar Fest in 2024, featuring new celebrations and spectacles, Pixar Place Hotel stands as a gateway to a world of adventure, laughter, and shared memories at the Disneyland Resort.
