The restructured Americas region now comprises two subregions: U.S. & Canada, and Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC), each led by newly appointed subregional presidents. Susan Santiago has been named President of the U.S. & Canada subregion, tasked with spearheading the growth and performance optimization of Hyatt’s owned and managed properties. With a remarkable 32-year tenure at Hyatt, Santiago’s extensive experience, particularly as Senior Vice President of Hyatt’s Lifestyle Division and Miraval brand, equips her well for this pivotal role.
Gabriel Felip takes on the role of President for the Latin America & Caribbean subregion, focusing on operational performance across all Hyatt brands in the area, including the Inclusive Collection. Felip’s three decades of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, including his previous role as Hyatt’s Group President of Inclusive Collection Global Operations, make him an invaluable asset to Hyatt’s leadership team.
