Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, located in the lush landscapes of Riviera Maya, Mexico, proudly announces the completion of a significant renovation project, enhancing its Eco Collection rooms with an investment of $20 million. This comprehensive update introduces 336 newly renovated rooms across three eco-conscious accommodation categories, specifically designed with families in mind.

The renovation focuses on three types of family-style suites, starting with the Eco Family Superior rooms. These rooms are designed to comfortably accommodate families in a single space, featuring a king-size bed and lofted twin bunk beds. A total of 326 rooms have been updated to this category, with a special discount available for stays between March 1 and December 19, 2024, using the code ECO24 for bookings made through April 30.

For those seeking more space and privacy, the Eco Family Suites offer two-bedroom accommodations with an ensuite family space for bunk beds, an oversized bathroom equipped with twin showers, sinks, and two toilets, as well as a private outdoor plunge pool for an enhanced experience.

The renovation also introduces ten new Eco Family Penthouses, providing a luxurious option with a master bedroom featuring a king-size bed, a separate living area with a queen-size bunk bed, and two bathrooms, offering ample space for families or groups.

Miguel Angel Guardado, General Manager of Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, expressed the resort’s commitment to sustainable tourism and cultural immersion, stating, “The new Eco Suites are truly the culmination of this mission – perfectly positioned alongside our onsite cenotes and mangrove river, created to comfortably accommodate families and groups of all shapes and sizes in rooms that harness a bit of the Mayan jungles’ wild beauty.”

These Eco Suites incorporate renewable energy sources and benefit from an onsite water treatment plant, minimizing the resort’s environmental footprint. The resort, which now boasts 941 rooms, also announced the renovation of its Riviera restaurant, introducing a Bohemian French style, and the return of its popular taco truck concept, Santo Taco.

With this renovation, Sandos Caracol Eco Resort continues to offer guests an immersive, eco-friendly vacation experience that harmonizes with the beauty of the Mayan jungle, providing a unique blend of comfort, culture, and conservation.
