Norwegian Joy Debuts Enhanced Features Following Dry Dock Refresh

Norwegian Joy has triumphantly returned to the seas, boasting an array of enhanced spaces and offerings after a three-week dry dock refurbishment. Now setting sail on Caribbean voyages from Miami, the 3,804-passenger vessel introduces 24 new balcony staterooms, a revamped thermal suite within its spa, freshly redesigned owner’s suites, and an expanded Vibe Beach Club exclusively for adults. In a move that anticipates the summer travel surge, the rejuvenated ship is poised to journey to New York, offering enticing cruises to Bermuda.

David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line, emphasized the company’s responsiveness to passenger feedback in rolling out these upgrades. “Responding to our guests’ requests, we’ve enhanced Norwegian Joy with additional luxury features and more space to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable cruise experience,” Herrera stated. “With the expansion of our spa facilities, the introduction of more spacious accommodations, and the extension of our adults-only beach club, we’re excited to offer guests even more ways to unwind and indulge during their vacation.”

The enhancements include a significant expansion of the Mandara Spa and Salon, now the largest among the line’s Breakaway-Plus class ships, enriched with a new thermal suite. This serene oasis features four senses loungers, a sauna, an ice room, and a steam room, promising an unparalleled relaxation experience at sea.

The ship’s premier accommodations have also seen a substantial upgrade, with the two top-tier owner’s suites now boasting three bedrooms each, a separate dining room, and refreshed living areas and outdoor balconies, ensuring utmost comfort and privacy.

Additionally, the Vibe Beach Club has been enlarged to include private luxe cabanas, adopting a layout similar to its sister ships, Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Bliss, further enhancing the exclusive adults-only retreat.
