Prima Air, a prominent private charter company based in the United States, has launched a new base at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) within the premises of Hong Kong International Airport. This strategic move marks Prima Air’s foray into the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to cater to the growing demand for luxurious private jet charter services.

Lina Tullberg, the founder and CEO of Prima Air, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “With the gradual increase in customers in Asia, Prima Air’s expansion will provide VIP customers in the Asia-Pacific region with more comprehensive, luxurious, and complete private jet charter services.”

Prima Air operates as both a charter company and an agent, facilitating flight bookings on behalf of clients. Leveraging its partnership with Pegasus Elite Aviation (PEG), a wholly-owned sibling operator, Prima Air ensures seamless flight operations. Prima Air Group LLC acquired Pegasus in early 2023, solidifying its position in the aviation industry.

In addition to the newly established Hong Kong base, Prima Air/Pegasus operates from bases in Florida and New York, complementing its primary hub in Los Angeles. Following the acquisition of Pegasus, Prima Air boasts an extensive footprint, with ownership of more than 70,000 square feet (6,500 sqm) of hangar space across Burbank and Van Nuys airports.

Prima Air’s diverse fleet underscores its commitment to providing top-tier services, with aircraft including a Boeing 737-700(BBJ), two Gulfstream Aerospace G650s, ten GVs and GIVs, and a Bombardier Aerospace Global 5000. This impressive fleet ensures flexibility and luxury for discerning travelers seeking bespoke air travel experiences.

As Prima Air establishes its presence in Hong Kong, it aims to elevate the private aviation experience for clients across the Asia-Pacific region, offering unparalleled convenience, comfort, and sophistication.
