Holland America Line Announces 2026 Grand World and Australia & New Zealand Voyages

Holland America Line has officially opened bookings for its much-anticipated 2026 Grand World Voyage on the Volendam and the 2026 Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage on the Zaandam. Both cruises will set sail in January 2026 from the United States, offering a unique roundtrip format that includes a rendezvous in Sydney, Australia.

The Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage is a newly detailed itinerary that promises an expansive exploration of the South Pacific, including stops in Hawaii, Fiji, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. This itinerary features 10 extended port visits, allowing travelers to deeply engage with the local culture and nightlife, especially in places like Papeete, Tahiti, and Raiatea, French Polynesia.

Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer at Holland America Line, emphasized the uniqueness of the itineraries, noting, “Our Grand Voyages are renowned for connecting guests with the world’s most fascinating places while sailing roundtrip from the United States. We’ve crafted these itineraries to include both expected destinations and rare ports in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, as frequently requested by our guests.”

The Grand World Voyage will embark from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, covering 48 ports in 25 countries over a 132-day journey that includes seven continents, with significant stops in Singapore, the Maldives, Egypt, the Mediterranean, and Northern Europe. The Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage will depart from San Diego, California, visiting 44 ports across 10 countries over 93 days, featuring six overnight calls and access to smaller, intimate ports.

Early bookings for the full 132-day Grand World Voyage or the 93-day Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage, made by June 16, 2025, come with significant incentives. Guests can receive onboard spending credits and amenities valued at up to $9,350 or $7,900, respectively, per person. Additional perks include a $500 air credit per person if booked through Holland America’s Flight Ease, complimentary roundtrip airport transfers, a $500 Grand Mariner Discount for returning guests, and a three percent pay-in-full discount.

Further benefits for early bookings may include onboard credits up to $2,000 per guest, complimentary luggage delivery services, prepaid crew appreciation, a free shore excursion, and laundry and dry-cleaning services for certain stateroom categories.

Each Grand Voyage is designed to offer guests a luxurious and enriching experience, with superior amenities, gracious service, and unique cultural engagements.
