Atlas Ocean Voyages Enhances Mediterranean Culinary Cruises with Top Chefs and Sommeliers
Atlas Ocean Voyages is set to elevate its “Epicurean Expeditions” in the Mediterranean with a lineup of distinguished chefs and culinary experts. These sailings, focused on gastronomic experiences, will feature wine tastings, culinary presentations, and hands-on learning opportunities from some of the most acclaimed figures in the culinary world.
James A. Rodriguez, the president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages, expressed enthusiasm about the enhanced offerings, stating, “With a variety of culinary talent joining us, we are excited to offer our guests an even more enriching and immersive culinary journey in the Mediterranean.”
The newly added culinary experts include:
- Paulette Mitchell, an American chef, author, and producer known for her engaging culinary books, will enhance the culinary delights on the World Traveller during the July 1 departure.
- Martin Gimenez Castro, celebrated Argentinean chef based in Warsaw, known for his innovative cooking style, will join the August 5 departure alongside Luciana Berry, a Brazilian chef acclaimed in the UK for her blend of traditional and contemporary Brazilian cuisine.
- David Shalleck, an American chef and author with a passion for Mediterranean cooking, is set to board on August 23, promising guests an authentic taste of regional flavors.
- Christy Rost, TV host of “At Home with Christy Rost,” will share her home cooking secrets on the September 16 and September 30 departures.
- Chef Plum, known from the “Restaurant Road Trip” series, will bring his culinary expertise to the World Voyager on October 2 and October 12.
- Stephan Pyles, a James Beard Award-winning chef from Texas, will offer his gourmet experience on October 19, joined by Paula Lambert, a renowned cheesemaker and the founder of the Mozzarella Company in Dallas.
